Evelyn M. Regier, 89, died Oct. 20 at Parkside Homes, Hillsboro.

Born April 23, 1920, in Hillsboro, to Christian and Katherine (Delk) Seibel, she worked in the Marion County Treasurer’s office and was a member of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.

She married Wesley Regier June 11, 1945, in rural Hillsboro.

A son, Douglas Regier, who died in 2004, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Wesley, of Hillsboro; a daughter, Karleen Vogt of Hillsboro; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Burial was Friday at Ebenfeld Cemetery in rural Hillsboro and services at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church with the Rev. Dave Plett presiding.
