Fans appreciate tournament organizers

To the editor:

Wow! If you did not attend the regional wrestling tournament Feb. 19 and 20 in USD 408 Sports and Aquatic Center, you really missed out.

The event was well orchestrated and a joy to attend. It started on time and ran smoothly and on schedule. As each weight class concluded, updated brackets were immediately posted. Our wonderful facility had plenty of seating and the walking track and pool were added bonuses.

It was a real treat for our team to have such a large crowd in attendance. The roar of our home crowd for our wrestlers was deafening — especially during the final round. What a thrill!

All in all, it was a real credit to both our city and our school. We were proud to hear the positive comments.

Congratulations to our regional champion wrestling team and coaches.
