Marion-Florence FFA will express appreciation to local businesses for the ongoing support they provide to USD 408 schools by hosting a breakfast Feb. 22 in the basement of the Marion City Building.
The breakfast coincides with National FFA week, and FFA sponsor Mark Meyer said chapter members welcome the opportunity to give something back for the support they receive.
“We always ask businesses to give, give, give. We wanted to do something to say thank you, not only for FFA, but for all they do for our schools,” Meyer said.
“It’s the first time we’ve done this, and we hope local businesses will turn out,” Meyer said.
FFA members will be serving breakfast from 7 to 8:30 a.m. All local businesses are invited.
