Fire fright

To the editor:

I’m sure we all have experiences in life that are unpleasant and harrowing. One for me was a fire, actually several fires that were out of control in 40 mph wind. I called 911 to get the local fire department out.

That for me truly was a most humbling experience. I’ve nothing but praise for the firefighters’ pleasant attitude, very accommodating and thorough, never implying blame on my part. It truly was a group I’d recommend to anyone!
