Florence talks ball field lights

Florence has purchased four light poles to replace ball field poles damaged by a storm several years ago.

Arrangements to pick up lights given to the city were discussed at Thursday’s Chamber of Commerce dinner meeting in the city building.

The chamber sent flowers welcoming Prairie Oaks Designs and a thank you card to Bennie Holtsclaw for performing at the annual visit by Santa.

The chamber will look into printing a phone directory for the Florence community.
