Frank Patton
Frank William Patton, 93, of Tampa, died April 30.
Born April 22, 1918, in Battlefield, Mo., to Lendey W. and Eliza Jane (Viles) Patton, he was raised on a small farm near Nixa, Mo.
He was a welder and organized the Kansas District of Gold Wing Road Riders Association, serving as state director.
His wife, Gertrude (Crist), and a son, Eddie, preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Gary and Leroy; a brother, Leon; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services were Friday at St. Phillip’s Catholic Church, Hope. A rosary preceded the service. The Rev. Mark Wesely officiated.
Burial was in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Tampa.
