Frank Albert Williams, 87, formerly of Glasco, died Friday in Hillsboro. He was born May 21, 1924, in rural Richmond to Francis Leroy and Susie (Stevenson) Williams.

He married F. Leola Gull on Oct. 7, 1945, at Dalhart, Texas. He was a newspaper owner and editor.

A daughter, Lori Beth Beck, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Richard L. Williams of Hillsboro; two daughters, Marcia (Scott) Seaton of Benton and Pamela (John) Lutes of Emporia; one brother, Dick Davis; and two sisters, Dolly Wallace of Emporia and Leota Greene of Redding, Calif.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Glasco Cemetery. The family will receive guests from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Condolences may be sent to the family via jost@jostfuneralhome.com.
