Freddie Mosiman Jr.
Freddie Mosiman Jr., 86, of Newton, died April 4 at Asbury Park Health Care Center, Newton.
Born July 22, 1923, in rural Elbing, to Fred and Mary Mosiman, he was a farmer and was employed at Cessna Aircraft Industries.
He married Ruth Winkle. She died in May 2006. His parents, daughter Norma Gritz, brother Reuben, sisters Ruth Balzer and Elsie Mosiman, and two great-grandchildren also preceded him.
He was a member of First Missionary Church, Newton.
Survivors include two sons, LeRoy of Peabody and Fred of Wichita; two daughters, Goyia Riddiough of Wichita and Laurie Harris of Jefferson City, Mo.; a brother, Wilber of Newton; a sister, Wilma Jean Motter of Topeka; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Missionary Church Cemetery, Newton. A public visitation will be 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Petersen Funeral Home, Newton. The family will be present 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
