Free developmental screening for children, birth through 5 years or age, will be from 3 to 5:30 p.m. March 14 in Marion.

Development of cognitive, motor, speech/language and social/emotional areas will be checked. Vision and hearing also will be screened. The process usually takes at least one hour.

Marion County Early Intervention Services sponsors the screening.
