A free genealogy workshop will be open to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 14 at Carnegie Library in Council Grove.

The workshop is sponsored by the Council Oak Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Kansas Society DAR. The one-on-one workshop will provide assistance for beginners wanting to trace their lineage back to the Revolutionary War.
