Wedding plans announced

John and Lori Gillet of Peabody announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jessica Christine Gillet, to Cameron Ray Bowlin, son of Scott and Terre Bowlin of Whitewater.

The bride-elect graduated from Peabody-Burns High School in 2008 and currently is a senior at Emporia State University majoring in elementary education. She will complete her degree in May after student teaching at Garfield Elementary in Augusta.

Her fiancé is a 2008 graduate of Remington High School. He completed a welding degree at Hutchinson Community College. Koch Industries employs him.

A wedding is planned July 9 at Red Rooster Reception Hall near Augusta. The bride’s family pastor, the Rev. Rodger Charles, will officiate. The couple plan to honeymoon in Louisiana in August and will live in Augusta.
