Golfers finish 4th, 5th at Sacred Heart
The Marion High School golf two-man team of Landon Leiker and Lindsay Hett finished fourth with a combined score of 176 Friday at the Sacred Heart Invitational in Salina.
The Marion four-man team — Leiker, Hett, Scott Jones, and Adam Molleker — finished fifth.
Leiker shot the best round for the Warriors, finishing with an 84, 44 on the front nine and 40 on the back nine, good enough to tie for sixth.

Council Grove
The Marion High School golf team finished third April 19 at Council Grove.
Hett tied for fifth at the end of 18 holes and placed ninth after a scorecard playoff. She shot an 86, 44 in the front nine and 42 in the back nine.
Leiker shot an 87 (45-42) to earn a 12th-place medal and Molleker shot a 92 (47-45) to earn a 19th-place medal.
