Marina Moreira of Pouso Alegre, Brazil, and Oliver Good of Lawrence announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Gislene Moreira of Boston, Mass., and Antonio Henrique Moreira of Pouso Alegre, and Robert and JoAnn Good of Marion are their parents.

Grandparents are Maria Neusa Almeida, Geraldo Almeida, and Ana C. Toledo of Pouso Alegre and the late Benedito Moreira; and Bula Good of Durham and the late Edward Good, and the late Clinton and Josephine Frick.

The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of Santo Amaro in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Her fiancé graduated from Kansas State University in 2005 and is employed by Clovis Construction and Tenants to Homeowners in Lawrence.

The couple is planning an Oct. 23 wedding in Marion.
