Gratitude to city, others

To the editor:

We don’t think our city employees get enough recognition for the work they do. We, the people of Jex Addition, would like to thank the City of Marion for coming down and repairing Root Street before it got in sad shape before winter.

Thanks very much for all you do with your time and effort to keep our streets in good shape.
