CLUB NOTES
Happy Hustlers
Premium checks from various fairs were distributed by Justin Smith when Happy Hustlers 4-H Club met Nov. 6 at Marion Community Center.
Seven leaders, 19 parents, 19 members, and 34 guests attended.
Marsha Meyer handed out new member packets to 13 new members, and committees were assigned.
Tina Groening met with Clover Buds, and Cathy Martin told members children’s books were needed for a book swap at the area food bank.
The club earned a purple seal for its charter and $30 for third place with its Old Settlers Day float.
Each member was asked to bring a piece of fruit and each family two dozen homemade cookies for the club’s Christmas party Dec, 4 at the community center.
Club member will go caroling at St. Luke Living Center and Marion Assisted Living. Gifts of up to $7 in value will be exchanged. Grade school boys and girls will buy gifts for each other, and high school boys and girls will buy gifts for each other.
