Former cattleman and farmer Harold Kasper, 83, died Saturday at Hillsboro Community Hospital.

Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, Pastor Brian Allen officiating.

Kasper was born July 29, 1931 to David and Susie (Block) Kasper in Hillsboro.

A sister, Esther Kliewer, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife Shirley of Hillsboro; daughters Kristy Harder of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Brenda Brown of Hillsboro, Dawn Long of Lenexa, and Sandy Beisel of Independence; sisters Dorothy Kliewer of Weatherford, Oklahoma, and Rosella Suderman of Hillsboro; 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
