Harrison Pankratz

Harrison Pankratz, 90, of Hillsboro, died Nov. 21 at Holton Community Hospital, Holton.

Born Jan. 1, 1919, in Inman, to Sam G. and Lena (Wall) Pankratz, he was a farmer.

On June 9, 1942, he married Helen Friesen in Hillsboro. She died in 2007.

He was a member of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.

A brother, Elmer Pankratz, and a sister, Luella Pankratz, preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, Gary of Davenport, Iowa, and Jay of San Bernardino, Calif.; a daughter, Laura Call of Holton; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, Hillsboro, with the Rev. Dave Plett and the Rev. Jay Pankratz officiating.

Burial will be in Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery, Hillsboro.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church building fund.
