Edward and Margaret (Ruby) Hein of Hillsboro will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary by going on a trip with their three children and their children’s spouses.

The Heins married Aug. 10, 1948, at Marion Evangelical United Brethren Church, now Eastmoor United Methodist Church.

They have farmed together southeast of Hillsboro since then and remain on the same farm they purchased when they married.

Their children are Karen Jaworsky and her husband, Greg, of Newton; Jan Britton and her husband, Jim, of Denver, Colo.; and Dean Hein and his wife, Beth, of Hillsboro.

The Heins have 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
