Keri Richmond and Charlie Helmer, both of Marion, were married June 11 at Marion Christian Church. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Carl Helm.

The reception was at Pilsen Community Center. They honeymooned in Branson, Mo.

Keri Richmond is the daughter of Roger and Betty Richmond of Marion. She is employed at St. Luke Hospital as a radiology tech. She graduated from Hutchinson Community College.

Charlie Helmer is the son of Ladd and Luci Helmer, of Marion. He is a customer service representative for Cargill Salt in Hutchinson. He graduated from Butler County Community College.

The bride’s gown was taffeta with clusters of crystals arranged at the bodice and along the sides. The flowers were lime green button mums, light green roses, white carnations, and white lilies. The maid of honor was Christina Unruh of Newton. The brides maids wore Malibu blue strapless chiffon dresses with pleated bodices and layered skirt. The ring bearers were Randon Richmond, son of the bride, and Ripley Helmer, son of the groom. The best man was Brent Boone of Wichita. The guest book attendant was Kaylie Waner, the niece of the groom. Destiny Boudreax, the niece of the groom, was in charge of gifts .
