To the Editor:

What a wonderful surprise I had when I opened my Peabody Gazette-Bulletin and saw the full page coverage of the musicals and plays being presented this past weekend at all of the high schools in Marion County.

I like the fact that, along with the pictures, there was a write-up about each production and the details of show times and admission. I would guess there are many people who had no idea this was the big weekend for these events. If a person planned it right, he/she could take in four of the five shows. What a great deal of entertainment for a reasonable price!

Kudos to Adam Stewart for the fine coverage and to our hometown newspapers for sharing it with all of us.

What better way to get the word out about what is happening in the schools than through the hometown newspapers.

Kudos to the area principals for allowing Adam to come in and interview the kids and directors. A lot of hard work went into the productions.

I’m looking forward to next year.
