Highway work means delays on US-77
Staff writer
Motorists taking US-56/US-77 north toward Herington will be delayed by a $1.3 million road construction project.
Kansas Department of Transportation is resurfacing the road between the Marion/Dickinson county line and the four-way stop on the east side of Herington.
Daytime construction will reduce traffic to one lane following a pilot car through the work zone.
Delays are expected to be less than 15 minutes. Construction is scheduled to be completed by Nov. 3.
