April 17: A dog complaint was reported in the 400 block of South Cedar Street. A suspicious person was checked in the 500 block of East D Street. An activated commercial alarm was investigated in the 100 block of North Ash Street.

April 18: A suspicious vehicle was checked in the 600 block of North Main Street. An officer taught two D.A.R.E. classes at Hillsboro Elementary School. Suspicious activity was checked in the 300 block of South Ash Street. An assault was reported in the 400 block of East First Street, involving two juveniles.

April 19: A complaint was checked in the 200 block of North Ash Street, when an individual was upset about the disposition of possible criminal charges. Arkansas City police received assistance with an investigation. A wild animal complaint was reported in the 600 block of South Wilson Street. A suspicious person was checked in the 200 block of North Ash Street.

April 20: Assistance was provided to Peabody police with an investigation. A child custody dispute was reported in the 800 block of East A Street. A dog complaint was checked at B and Date streets. Officers attended a safety class at city hall.

April 21: Suspicious phone calls were reported in the 100 block of South Wilson Street. McPherson police received assistance with an investigation. A welfare check was provided in the 600 block of West Grand Avenue; an individual was found unresponsive and emergency medical services were notified. Suspicious activity was checked in the 400 block of South Cedar Street. Assistance was provided to a sheriff’s deputy with a non-injury accident.

April 22: An individual was fingerprinted for employment purposes. A harassment complaint was reported in the 400 block of East First Street. An individual reportedly was yelling obscenities in the 500 block of East First Street.

April 23: A theft was reported in Hillsboro Heights, when a business reportedly videotaped a customer shoplifting; the suspect was identified and the case remains under investigation. Someone reported damage to a vehicle in the 200 block of South Main Street. A threat complaint was filed in the 300 block of North Washington Street. An individual in the 200 block of North Lincoln Street reported that two unwanted guests would not leave her property.
