Dec. 18: Officers assisted a motorist. A water leak was located on Willow Road. Officers followed up on a domestic violence report.

Dec. 19: Local liquor licenses were reviewed. Officers assisted Social and Rehabilitative Services with a child neglect complaint in the 300 block of South Birch Street. Officers assisted Wichita SRS with child abuse complaint. An assault victim was reported at the hospital; subject reported he was struck in the head with a baseball bat in Salina; the victim did not want to pursue charges. Officers assisted with a civil dispute in Hillsboro Heights. A civil process was served for the city. Evidence was returned to proper owner. An abandoned bicycle was recovered. A welfare check was performed.

Dec. 20: A noise complaint was checked. A safety committee performed a safety inspection at the police department. A person reported that someone had stolen numerous checks and forged them at several places in Hillsboro. A domestic disturbance in the 100 block of South Washington Street was checked; it was a verbal confrontation between husband and wife.

Dec. 21: Two parking complaint were checked. The canine was taken to the veterinarian for a checkup. Officers assisted McPherson County with an arrest warrant. Officers attended safety training at city hall.

Dec. 22: Officers assisted with city safety inspections. A parking complaint was checked. Officers assisted Tabor College with an abandoned vehicle.

Dec. 23: A person was fingerprinted for employment. Officers assisted with victim impact statements. A traffic complaint at Ash Street and Willow Road was checked.

Dec. 24: A noise compliant was checked. Officers locked the sports complex. Suspicious activity was located.

Dec. 25: Officers assisted a motorist. Suspicious activity was located.

Dec. 26: Officers attended canine training. Officers assisted a motorist.

Dec. 27: A subject reported being harassed by a family member. Officers attended municipal court. A dog complaint was checked.

Dec. 28: Officers assisted a motorist. A suspicious person was reported. Officers worked a non-injury accident in the 200 block of Willow Road. Officers delivered cereal malt beverage licenses. Officers assisted Emergency Medical Services. A dog complaint was checked.

Thursday: A person was fingerprinted for employment. An unwelcome customer was reported in the 300 block of North Ash Street. Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout. A dog complaint was checked. Officers assisted in an attempt to identify possible missing property.

Friday: Officers delivered packets for city hall. Officers arrested a subject in the 100 block of North Main Street on several out-of-state felony warrants. A subject left a lewd message on a vehicle in the 300 block of North Washington Street. A reckless driver was reported in the 100 block of South Date Street. A theft complaint was checked at Tabor College; subject reported his wallet was missing; it was later returned to his door minus approximately $80. A 911 disconnect was checked in the 200 block of East First Street. A subject reported not being able to retrieve his truck from a fenced area due to gate malfunction.

Saturday: Officers assisted with a power outage. A report of a subject removing cans form the recycling center was filed. A person reported that a lewd message was left on their vehicle in the 300 block of North Jefferson Street. A report of an out-of-control former employee was checked at a business. A missing juvenile was reported; the child was later located walking nearby. A noise complaint was checked. Officers assisted EMS in the 300 block of South Washington Street. An assault complaint was checked in the 400 block of North Ash Street. A subject reported being slapped by a friend.
