March 25: A skunk was reported on West Grand Avenue. A dog complaint was checked. A motorist was assisted. Suspicious activity was checked in the 100 block of North Main Street.

March 26: Officers assisted Hillsboro Fire Department with a residential alarm. Officers attended municipal court. Officers assisted a court services officer. An abandoned vehicle was checked in the 300 block of South Washington Street. An officer attended armorer training at the police law enforcement academy. A traffic complaint was checked. A person reported a security concern in the 400 block of South Jefferson Street. Suspicious activity was checked in Memorial Park.

March 27: Officers assisted Marion County Emergency Medical Services with traffic control. A report of suspicious activity was checked at Country Haven Motel. A report of theft of prescription medication in the 200 block of North Jefferson Street was taken. A dog complaint was checked.

March 28: A safety inspection was conducted in the police department. A parking complaint was checked. A subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant. A commercial alarm was checked in Hillsboro Heights. Officers assisted Marion County Sheriff’s officers with a traffic complaint.

March 29: A medical alarm was checked in the 400 block of North Ash Street. A camper hook up was performed. Officers assisted at the weather watch station. A reckless driving complaint was filed in Hillsboro Heights.

March 30: A traffic complaint was checked. Officers assisted Marion Police Department with an investigation. A dog complaint was checked. A prowler complaint was checked in the 200 block of West Grand Avenue. Suspicious activity was checked in the 100 block of South Main Street.

March 31: Officers assisted with traffic control as a garage was being moved to another location. A fox was reported at the fairgrounds. A report of harassment by text was taken. A report of altercation between several juveniles at Second and Jefferson streets was checked.

April 1: Officers assisted Harvey County Sheriff’s officers looking for a college student who had been involved in a traffic accident that had not been reported. Officers broke up a dispute between two juveniles in the 200 block of West Grand Avenue.

April 2: Officers assisted with traffic control for a mobile home being moved. An officer instructed a DARE class. A commercial alarm in the 100 block of North Ash Street was checked.

April 3: A fox was reported. A report of a neighbor disturbance in the 400 block of North Ash Street was checked. A camper hookup was performed.

April 4: Officers assisted in locating a subject at Tabor College. A dog complaint was checked. An officer instructed a DARE class.

Thursday: A stolen bicycle was recovered. A parking complaint was checked. A dog complaint was checked. A parking complaint was checked. Officers assisted Sheriff’s officers with a traffic complaint. A lost item was recovered and returned to its owner.

Friday: A hit and run was reported in the 200 block of South Washington Street; the driver struck a gas meter. A possible car versus pedestrian accident was reported.

Saturday: Officers followed up on a traffic accident. A dog complaint was checked in the 300 block of South Ash Street. A commercial alarm was checked in Hillsboro Heights. Officers attended canine training.
