May 13: An attempted scam was reported in the 500 block of east D Street. Officers checked a commercial alarm in the 600 block of North Ash Street. Officers checked an unattended fire outside of Hillsboro.

May 15: Officers checked a load spill from an accident at U.S. 56 and K-15.

May 16: Officers assisted military personnel with a search for a wanted person. Fraudulent returns were reported at a business in Hillsboro Heights. Identity theft was reported in the 400 block of North Ash Street. A stolen bicycle and a suspicious package were reported at Tabor College. A snake was reported in the 400 block of North Ash Street.

May 17: Criminal damage to property was reported in the 400 block of South Main Street. A physical altercation was reported between two juveniles. Officers assisted a transient person that had been dropped off in Hillsboro.
