Oct. 25: Marion Police Department received assistance with an investigation. An individual reported a battery was stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of East First Street.

Oct. 26: A disorderly person was reported at Hillsboro Heights. A parking complaint was filed in the 800 block of East A Street. Kansas Highway Patrol received assistance with a vehicle search from a K-9 unit. A suicidal person was reported in the 400 block of North Ash Street and was transported to a mental health facility. Two bicycles were reported missing from Hillsboro Middle School. Peddlers’ licenses were issued for door-to-door sales. A parking complaint was checked at City Hall. A suspicious vehicle was reported in Park Village. A noise complaint was checked at Second and Jefferson streets.

Oct. 27: Items stolen from Tabor College were recovered in McPherson. Officers checked a report of a woman screaming in the 300 block of South Wilson Street. A suspicious vehicle was checked in the 300 block of South Ash Street. An abandoned vehicle was checked in the 300 block of North Ash Street. A harassment complaint was filed in the 300 block of South Ash Street.

Oct. 28: Assistance was provided to Marion County Sheriff’s Department with an injury accident. Assistance also was provided for traffic control. A follow-up investigation was conducted on a disorderly person in the 300 block of North Ash Street. An individual was fingerprinted for employment purposes. Marion Police Department received assistance with an investigation.

Oct. 29: A large pumpkin was reported stolen from the 300 block of North Washington Street. Additional pumpkins were missing from the 500 block of South Wilson Street. A dog complaint was filed in the 600 block of South Ash Street.

Oct. 30: A threatening phone call was reported in the 400 block of South Jefferson Street. A wallet that initially was reported as lost or stolen in Hillsboro Heights was later located and had not been stolen. Security was provided at Trick or Treat Main Street. Officers attended training in Hutchinson. A dog complaint was filed in Prairie Pointe. A report was filed of someone breaking pumpkins on Willow Road. An individual was reported intoxicated and had been assaulted in the 200 block of North Adams Street.

Oct. 31: A suspicious vehicle was reported on D Street. A noise complaint was filed in the 100 block of South Jefferson Street.
