Oct. 31: An individual was arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop. Wichita police was assisted with an investigation. An officer removed Halloween debris from a street.

Nov. 1: A welfare check was provided in the 100 block of Elm Street. An officer received training in administering an alcohol breath test. A civil standby in a child custody dispute was provided in the 600 block of North Ash Street. A child custody dispute was investigated in the 400 block of East Grand Avenue. A landlord and tenant had a dispute in the 400 block of West Grand Avenue. An individual reported he knew who had possession of a firearm stolen from him 10 years ago. An individual reported child neglect in another jurisdiction; department of social and rehabilitative services was notified. Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of East D Street. An individual reported receiving threatening phone calls from a subject in the 400 block of West Grand Avenue.

Nov. 2: SRS received assistance with an investigation in the 400 block of West Grand Avenue. An unsupervised child was reported in Memorial Park. Suspicious activity was checked in the 600 block of North Birch Street.

Nov. 3: An individual reported profanity was painted on a sidewalk in the 300 block of West Grand Avenue. A minor vehicle accident occurred on Willow Road but no report was needed. An officer removed road debris from Ash and Grand streets. A dog complaint was filed in the 100 block of South Lincoln Street. A child welfare concern was reported in the 400 block of South Main Street; an adult from that residence was transported to a mental health facility. A missing bicycle was reported in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street. Florence police received assistance with an investigation.

Thursday: A funeral escort was provided. Someone was reportedly shooting an air soft rifle at another person; the victim admitted that the subject did not actually discharge the gun. An individual reported someone had text her and did not know who it was; she advised they were annoying texts. A report was taken of individuals possibly smoking marijuana south of the sports stadium.

Friday: A bicycle was reported stolen from Tabor gym; the bicycle was later recovered near a dormitory. Individuals were reportedly smoking marijuana in the tree line near the Tabor practice field.

Saturday: Hillsboro Fire Department received assistance with an alarm in the 700 block of South Main Street. Assistance was provided with the annual toy run. Two people were reported smoking behind the sports stadium. A telephone harassment complaint was made in the 200 block of South Main Street. A dog complaint was filed in the 300 block of South Birch Street.
