Nov. 22: A motorist was assisted at D and Floral streets. A camper hook-up was provided in Memorial Park. A K-9 performed a vehicle drug search on U.S. 56. An overdose was reported in the 400 block of North Ash Street. The subject was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital. Suspicious noises were checked in the 400 block of South Jefferson Street.

Nov. 23: Assistance was provided to a motorist on U.S. 56. A Marion County sheriff’s deputy received assistance with cattle on a highway. Suspicious activity was reported in the 600 block of East First Street. Emergency medical services personnel received assistance with a call. An activated commercial alarm was checked in the 300 block of North Ash Street. Assistance was provided to a court services officer.

Nov. 24: An animal cruelty complaint was filed in the 400 block of North Ash Street. Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitative Services received assistance with an investigation in the 400 block of South Birch Street. A welfare check was conducted in the 200 block of South Madison Street.

Nov. 25: Assistance was given to SRS with an investigation. A funeral escort was provided. A 911 disconnect was checked in the 400 block of North Adams Street. An individual reported a coat was taken from his vehicle while parked at his residence in the 400 block of South Cedar Street. The loss was estimated at $80. A motorist received assistance in the 500 block of North Ash Street. A property dispute in the 100 block of East D Street was determined to be a civil matter. Hillsboro City Council packets were delivered.

Nov. 26: A possible drunk driver was reported in the 400 block of South Main Street. An individual put her fist through a window in the 200 block of South Cedar Street during an argument. A parking complaint was filed in the 200 block of North Main Street. Two males were seen looking in a vehicle with a flashlight in the 200 block of North Lincoln Street. They reportedly fled the scene in a silver car.

Nov. 27: A 911 disconnect was checked in the 300 block of North Birch Street. A parking complaint was reported in the 200 block of North Main Street when an individual was accused of parking on a neighbor’s property.

Nov. 28: Suspicious activity was checked in the 400 block of North Adams Street. An individual reported that someone had been in their vehicle in the 300 block of North Birch Street but nothing was reported missing. A property dispute was reported in the 400 block of Floral Drive. A civil dispute in the 400 block of North Ash, a subject reported that a neighbor owed them money. An individual was found injured in a drainage ditch in the 400 block of South Birch Street following a disturbance. A suspicious person was checked in Hillsboro Heights.

Nov. 29: A motorist received assistance on U.S. 56. The city sewer department was contacted when a resident reported sewer had backed up in his home. A civil standby was provided in the 300 block of South Ash Street.

Nov. 30: EMS personnel received assistance with calls in the 300 block of North Lincoln Street and the 400 block of North Adams Street. Assistance was provided to the sheriff’s department with a telephone harassment complaint. An individual was fingerprinted for employment purposes. A domestic disturbance in the 200 block of South Ash Street was determined to be a verbal confrontation. A noise complaint was reported in the 300 block of North Ash Street.

Dec. 1: Security was provided to city employees while reconnecting residential electrical power at a residence in the 400 block of South Main Street. An individual received assistance with suspicious information found on a computer. Hillsboro Municipal Airport was checked for an overdue airplane.

Dec. 2: A suspicious vehicle on U.S. 56 was checked. The K-9 searched Hillsboro Middle School. SRS received assistance with an investigation.

Dec. 3: A suspicious vehicle was checked in the 800 block of East D Street. Wichita Police Department received assistance with an investigation. An officer instructed a drug awareness course for EMS students. A parking complaint was reported in the 400 block of South Adams Street.

Dec. 4: The complaint of a loud party was reported in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street. Suspicious activity was checked at the sports complex.

Dec. 5: An individual reported losing property in the 900 block of East D Street. Officers assisted with the Holly Days Parade. An individual reported that someone had taken an iPod and game player from his or her dormitory room in the 400 block of South Jefferson Street. Numerous curfew violations were reported in Memorial Park. Kansas Highway Patrol received assistance with a possible drunk driver at D and Jefferson streets.
