Marion police submitted the following reports:
Criminal damage to property
A streetlight was shot out near the residence at 705 Weldon St., Marion, at 9:05 a.m. April 22. Damage was reported to a bulb and lens but no dollar amount was listed on the report.
Traffic offenses
The driver of a vehicle was ticketed 6:40 p.m. April 28 after he reportedly spun the tires of his vehicle when leaving a parking lot on Main Street. The driver was cited for driving on a suspended license, displaying a tag not assigned to the vehicle, no proof of insurance, and racing.

Driving under the influence
A motorist reported an erratic driver at 3:27 p.m. April 30 on U.S. 56 near Diamond Road, Lehigh. The driver was stopped and failed a field sobriety test. Three opened bottles of whiskey, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle.
Disorderly conduct
Two Burns residents reported someone making an obscene gesture at them at 4:11 p.m. April 30, while they were riding their bicycles on city streets in Burns. The suspect also used obscene language toward a sheriff’s deputy.
