Irma Levy

Irma P. Levy, 91, of Herington, died May 7 at Salem Home of Hillsboro.

She was born Jan. 10, 1920, at Lincolnville, to Henry H. and Clara L. (Weber) Pagenkopf.

She graduated from Lincolnville High School in 1938 and completed St. Francis School of Nursing in Wichita in 1942. She received a Ph.D. in psychology and sociology.

She was employed as a registered nurse and a nursing instructor.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lincolnville.

On June 4, 1960, she married Albert Levy in Cincinnati. He preceded her in death Feb. 28, 1988. Her parents and a brother, Lloyd Pagenkopf, also preceded her.

Survivors include a brother, Roy Pagenkopf of Eagle, Idaho; and nieces and nephews.

Services will at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lincolnville. The Rev. Alan Stahlecker will officiate. A prayer service will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gable Funeral Home, Herington.

Burial will be in Lincolnville Cemetery.
