Irma Holub Reznicek, 88, died Oct. 2, 2008 in Marion.
She was born May 31, 1920 in rural Marion County, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Oborny) Holub.
On Sept. 14, 1942, she married John C. Reznicek at Pilsen with Father Emil Kapaun officiating.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, Marilyn and Elaine, and a son, John.
Survivors include five sons, Tom and wife Janet Reznicek, Lawrence; Ron and wife Verena Reznicek, Farmington, B.C., Canada; Ed and wife Mary Fund Reznicek, Goff; Ken and wife Deb Reznicek, Burlington; and Bob Reznicek, Lost Springs; three daughters, Carol and husband Robert Makovec, Ramona; Mary and husband Charles Loewen, Hillsboro, and Lori and husband John Torline, Derby; two sisters, Betty Stroda, Herington, and Rosie Waner, Alba, Texas; 22 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 7 and Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated Oct. 8 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, Pilsen. Burial was in Pilsen Cemetery.
Memorial funds have been established with Fr. Kaupaun Guild and St. Luke Living Center.
