J.C. Heyman
J.C. Heyman, 73, of Burns, died Feb. 26, 2009, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
He was employed for 30 years with Kansas Turnpike Authority.
Born March 7, 1935, at Newton, he was raised by his grandparents, Calvin and Hattie Heyman.
He graduated from Burns High School and served in the Army Medical Corps.
On July 7, 1962, he married Sandra Heath at El Dorado.
Survivors include his wife of the home, a son, Jim Heyman of Burns; and one grandson.
Services were Monday morning at Burns United Methodist Church with the Reverend Jim Bush officiating.
Burial was at Ebenezer Cemetery near Burns.
A memorial fund has been established with the church in care of Zeiner Funeral Home of Marion.
