James Weber
James Frank Gene Weber, 19, of Ramona, died July 22 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Marion County.
Born July 18, 1990, in Marion, to James R. and Lisa Dian (Stika) Weber, he attended Centre Elementary School and graduated from Centre High School in 2009.
He was a member of FFA and had received scholarships to Kansas State University from FFA and Marion County Quail Unlimited. He was also active in FBLA, basketball, and golf.
Survivors include his father of Ramona; his mother and step-father, Lisa and Ronnie Hanschu of Ramona; four sisters, Anna Weber of Ramona, Jamie Weber and Mishelle Weber of Arkansas, and Bobbie Jo Medeiros of Rhode Island; and grandparents, Frank and Anna Mae Stika of Tampa, Norma Weber of Ramona, and Burma Hanschu of Herington.
Services were Monday at Centre High School with the Rev. Bill Sexton presiding.
Burial was at Lewis Cemetery in Ramona.
