Janet “Diane” Hett Toews, 68, of Canton died Friday at Hospice House of Reno County.

She was born Sept. 27, 1946, to Don and Dolores Hett in Marion. She married George William Toews on Dec. 11, 1966.

She worked an as executive assistant and human resources administrator for The Bradbury Company for 40 years.

She was preceded by her husband, her father, and a brother, Douglas Hett.

Survivors include: her mother; son Flint Toews of Canton; daughter Mardi Heintzman of Hutchinson; brothers Dennis Hett, Danny Hett, and Darrin Hett, all of Canton; sisters Donetta Marston of Pratt, Deanna Bruce of McPherson, Donna Shields of McPherson, and Darla Morris of Newton; and three grandchildren.

Services were to be Wednesday at Canton United Methodist Church. Burial was to be in Canton Township Cemetery.
