Janice A. Engel, 74, of Latimer died Saturday at Valley View Healthcare, Junction City. She was born Dec. 1, 1937, in Ramona to Harry and Juanita (Rindt) Haas.

She married Morris F. Engel on April 7, 1957, at Trinity Lutheran Church of Ramona. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Latimer.

She is survived by her husband, Morris Engle, of Junction City; two sons, Lyle and Larry Engel, both of Herington; a daughter, Nancy Holt of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; a brother, Oren Haas of Wichita; and nine grandchildren.

Graveside services were Tuesday at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, rural White City, with the Rev. Charles Norman officiating.

A memorial fund has been established for Geary Community Healthcare Foundation.
