Jeanette Matz

Jeanette Webster Matz, 81, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Ascension Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born June 17, 1937, in Marion, Kansas, to Marium and Nora (Kline) Webster. She was a graduate of Marion High School. She married Robert C. Matz on June 14, 1957, in Hillsboro. Jeanette was a homemaker and helped care for her nephews Barry and Brian Allen.

She will be remembered for being a caregiver to her family, her love for the many dogs her and her husband shared, a loyal KU basketball fan, a servant to her church and faith, and a good neighbor.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother John Webster.

She is survived by her brother Laurence Webster and wife Glenda; sister Margo Allen; sister-in-law Carolyn Webster; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral service was held Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 320 S. Cedar, Marion, Kansas, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
