Joe Helmer will graduate from the University of Oklahoma Friday at Norman, Okla., with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and minors in Spanish and political science.

He is the son of Dan and Brenda Helmer of Andover and the grandson of Fred and Edith Helmer of Marion.
