Jonathon Hojda

Jonathon “Jon” Hojda, 20, of Ramona died Feb. 13, 2012, at Herington Municipal Hospital. He was born July 24, 1991, in Salina.

He was self-employed. He lived most of his life in Osborne and attended school through his freshman year at Osborne High School before moving to Wichita.

He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Hojda of Lost Springs; one brother, Martin Hojda of Independence; his father, Don Muir Jr. of Franklin, Neb.; adoptive father, Joseph Hojda of Osborne; grandparents, John and Sharyn Hojda of Lebanon and Henrietta and Scott Chestnut of Marquette; great-grandparents, Bob and Jean Chestnut of McPherson and Don and Kathy Muir Sr. of McPherson; and many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Henry and Olinda Klein of Marion.

The family received friends Friday at the Kitchenmaster/Oiltizer building in Lost Springs. A private family committal was in the Marquette Cemetery.

The family requests memorials to the donor’s choice in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Herington Chapel, 404 S. Broadway, Herington KS 67449.
