The body of Kandi Lee Thouvenell-Sprague, 28, was discovered Aug. 2 in rural Saline County.

She was born June 9, 1982, in Marion, to Jerry Thouvenell and Anna Dennis and graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2000.

Survivors include three daughters, Lily, 7, Rose, 5, and Daisy, 4; father Jerry of Marion; mother Anna Christmas of Chanute; brother Jessy Thouvenell of Marion; stepsiblings Cody, Chris, and Cassandra McPhail of Marion and Adam Christmas and Melissa Crawshaw of Chanute; and grandparents Dorothy Thouvenell of Hillsboro and David Leppke of Humboldt.

A celebration of life service was Saturday at Marion Christian Church. The Kandi Thouvenell-Sprague Memorial Fund has been established in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.
