Kiwanians help at ball fields
Several Marion Kiwanis Club members helped the Marion baseball team install a new scoreboard at the baseball field recently, Casey Case told the club Tuesday.
The new scoreboard, foul poles, and other improvements should all be ready for the team’s rescheduled season-opener at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Kiwanis will have its 90th anniversary in Marion on April 18.
A banquet and program will begin at 6:30 p.m. with several state Kiwanis dignitaries present.
Al Ash said the goal is to have 150 people at the celebration.
