Lauren Brunner

Lauren W. Brunner, 86, of Ramona, died Dec. 3 at Via Christi Medial Center, Wichita.

Born July 10, 1923, northwest of Ramona to Alex and Leah (Riffel) Brunner, he was married June 3, 1945, to Anna Orvell Long near Hope.

He graduated from Ramona High School in the class of 1941 and attended Kansas State University.

His wife; parents; a brother, Kenneth; and two grandsons, Tyler and Travis Brunner, preceded him in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Koch of Wichita; three sons, Kent of Lost Springs and Tracy and Mark of Ramona; two sisters, Virginia Shields of Lincolnville and Betty Dyck of Minneapolis; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ramona with the Rev. Clark Davis officiating. Burial was at the Lewis Cemetery, Ramona.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
