Leeland Crawford
Leeland M. Crawford, 71, of Clyde, died July 1 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus, Wichita.
Born Dec. 6, 1937, in Clay Center, to George R. and Lottie Mae (Bergman) Crawford, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He married Darlene Chaput in October 1957. They divorced in 1974. He married Lillian Stutz in March 1977. She preceded him in death in January 2008. Two brothers, Leonard and Lucky, also preceded him.
He was a self-employed construction contractor.
Survivors include two sons, Robert of Clyde and Randy of Marion; a daughter, Janet Craft of Marion; four brothers, Loun, Lawrence, Lowell, and Mickey, all of Clay Center; two sisters, Lois Lee of California and Lela Eye of Missouri; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services were Tuesday morning at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center. The Rev. Gerald Martin presided.
Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center.
