Peabody cattle buyer LeRoy Gene Mosiman, 63, died July 26 in Peabody.

Born Oct. 6, 1946, in Newton to Freddie and Ruth (Winkle) Mosiman, who preceded him in death, he was divorced from Verna (Smith) Mosiman.

Survivors include a son, Brian Mosiman of Emporia; a daughter, Michelle Ann Mosiman of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; a brother, Freddie Mosiman III of Wichita; two sisters, Goyia Riddiough of Wichita and Laurie Harris of Jefferson City, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

A sister, Norma Gritz, also preceded him in death.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Peabody United Methodist Church. The Rev. David Ragland and Pastor James Pohlman officiated. Interment was in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, near Peabody.
