Clinton and Tiffany Jeffrey of Marion announce the birth of their first son, Liam David Jeffrey, born at 2:35 p.m. Aug. 20 at Newton Medical Center.

He weighed 7 lbs., 15.4 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Mike and Diane Jeffrey, Tim Christensen, and Michon Christensen, all of Marion, are his grandparents. Mary Jeffrey, Helen Bernhardt, and Gene and Marge Christensen, all of Marion, Charlotte Schroeder of McPherson, Jay and Linda Schroeder of Atoka, Tenn., and the late Marvin Bernhardt are his great-grandparents.
