Lila Richter

Lila G. Richter, 86, retired CMA, died July 14, 2015.

Mrs. Richter was born Nov. 14, 1928, in Walton to the late Samuel H. Schmidt and Justine (Hiebert) Schmidt. She married Jesse Richter on Nov. 4, 1949.

She was a member of Aulne United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse.

Survivors include her children, Sandy Murphree, Estes Park, Colorado; Jroy, Baxter Springs; Randy, Peabody; and Bradley, Windom; a sister Nora, Marion; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Service will be Saturday, Aug. 1, at 11 a.m. at Aulne United Methodist Church, Aulne, Kansas, with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating.

Memorials have been established with Aulne United Methodist Church and Good Shepherd Hospice Care.
