Parents announce engagement

Mark and Lisa Johnson of Marion announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaylee Johnson, to Garrett Looney, son of Gary and Robin Looney of El Dorado, Ark.

Grandparents are Wayne and Gloria Handle of Baxter Springs, William and Joan Johnson of Wichita, Carolyn Hall of Franklin, Tenn., and the late Sonya Looney. Marie Clark of Burns is the bride-elect’s great-grandmother.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Vilonia High School in Vilonia, Ark., and a 2010 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, Conway, with a degree in sociology and public relations.

Her fiancé is a 2006 graduate of El Dorado High School in El Dorado, Ark., and a 2010 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in geography.

A wedding is planned Sept. 25 on Mount Eagle near Clinton, Ark.
