Lucille Collier

Lucille Irene (Stenzel) Collier died July 20, 2016, at the age of 90. She was a resident of Frisco, Texas, at the time of her passing.

She was born July 3, 1926, in Hillsboro, Kansas, to Victor and Alma (Propp) Stenzel. She was an only child.

She graduated from Wichita Business College and was a life-long member of Alpha Iota Sorority.

Survivors include her daughter, Debra (Collier) Genaidy and son-in-law, Karim Genaidy; stepsons Sonny Collier, Jack Collier, and Bill Collier; and many step-grandchildren and their families.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Homer L. Collier.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 29, at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary in Wichita. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at the mortuary. Interment will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Heartspring through the Wichita Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Iota Sorority. Contributions should be made payable to Heartspring and noted for the Lucille Collier memorial.
