Kerry Maag of Marion has been inducted into the Alpha Phi Alpha Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Butler Community College. The induction ceremony was Feb. 24.

Maag was among 182 spring inductees. To be eligible, she was required to have a minimum 3.5 grade-point average.

Phi Theta Kappa is the official honor society of two-year colleges. The four hallmarks are scholarship, leadership, service, and fellowship. Members participate in various activities throughout the year to grow personally and professionally and to enhance the communities the students come from.
