Marion FFA to have community appreciation breakfast

Marion businesses and residents are invited to a biscuit and gravy, pancakes, and sausage breakfast Feb. 19 sponsored by Marion-Florence FFA Chapter.

Breakfast will be served from 7 until 8:30 a.m. in the Marion City Building basement.

The breakfast is to say “thank you” to businesses and residents who have supported the FFA program this past year.

A work auction and dinner is also being held by FFA members at 6:30 p.m., Feb. 20 at the ag shop at Marion High School.

Members will be auctioned off for a 8-hour workday to help raise money for the alumni group that sponsors FFA trips, conventions, and other various events throughout the year.
