Feb. 8: A non-injury accident was investigated. A stranded motorist received assistance. A message was delivered. A dog complaint was checked. Assistance was provided in removing vehicles from streets to prepare for snow removal.

Feb. 9: Motorists whose vehicles had slid into ditches were assisted. A non-injury accident was reported. Officers responded to a domestic dispute. An animal complaint was checked.

Feb. 11: School zones were patrolled. An individual met with an officer regarding a civil matter. Breath tests were provided at the Marion High School homecoming dance.

Feb. 12: A local business asked for assistance with an intoxicated person. EMS personnel received assistance with a call. Traffic control was provided for an air ambulance. A report of a suspicious person was checked.

Feb. 13: A business door was found open. A welfare check was provided. A non-injury accident was investigated. Criminal damage to property was reported. A stolen vehicle was reported and investigated.

Feb. 14: School zones were patrolled. The stolen vehicle was located. Officers attended a meeting. A message was delivered. A business door was found open. A vehicle was reported stolen.

Feb. 15: School zones were patrolled. A non-injury accident was investigated. Assistance was provided in locating a runaway. Officers met with the county attorney regarding cases. A civil process was served.

Feb 16: School zones were patrolled. A person was reported missing. A message was delivered. Assistance with a case was provided to Peabody police. Criminal damage to property was reported. A dog bite was investigated.

Thursday: School zones were patrolled. A business door was found open. Officers attended a meeting. Streetlights were checked. A non-injury accident was investigated. An officer met with a concerned citizen.

Friday: School zones were patrolled. Officers walked through Marion Elementary School and attended a meeting. An out-of-control student was reported at OASIS. Officers met with a concerned citizen. EMS personnel received assistance with a call.

Saturday: Officers conducted firearms training. A report of someone shooting a BB gun was checked. Assistance with traffic control was provided to the sheriff’s office when a semi jackknifed on U.S. 56. Debris was removed from the road.

Officers issued nine warnings and made one arrest.
